Default Phalaenopsis sanderiana X sib

A species endemic to the Philippines, this is a 4 inches’ diameter flower plant grows hot to cool that usually produces 15 to 20 pendant cascading flowers but since my plant is a matured seedling, I only got 7 flowers. Maybe in the following years it will produce pendant cascading flowers too. I have the very light pink version with a hint of lavender as opposed to the pink lavender I see in situ pictures. Maybe I have the alba form. I got this orchid plant from Peter Lin of Big Leaf Orchids. I am just following what is on the tag of this plant, otherwise I will follow the true colors of the alba. But we will see what the next batch of flowers next year will bring. I give this plant the care just like any other Phalaenopsis I have.

As far as I remember, if this were to be a true to definition alba variety, the labellum would only have pale yellow colours, and none of the rusty orange to red spotting that I can see in your pictures. Plus it wouldn't have that magenta along the vein of the petals.

Thanks for your kind encouraging words. Right, but there are two Peter Lins who are AOS judges....one from California and one from Florida. The California
Peter is the Phalaenopsis expert.

Actually it's Peter Lin of Texas who is the Phalaenopsis expert, not Florida. He is owner of Big Leaf Orchid and not an AOS judge.

Peter T Lin from California is a judge, as well as owner of Diamond Orchids.

Nice flowers btw! I agree it's not an alba as true albas have no red shades at all. Wait till it gets bigger for a huge show of flowers!
