Do you still want to trade with your sister?

Nice flower indeed.
What about the smell?
Lip shape and colour are unusual for a typical cornu-cervi: it makes me think of P. Valentinii (cornu-cervi x violacea).
Bye

Your flower is beautiful!

I do agree that looking at the lip color, it looks very much like P. Valentinii (cornu-cervi x violacea).

alevan, nikkik,
Ah, yes, I see what you mean! It's entirely possible since it was only labelled cornu-cervi and did not have any more info than that. In addition, I thought the cornu-cervi petals and sepals are thicker and more waxy--not as translucent as mine. Is this correct?

alevan,
It does have a lovely, light scent. Somewhat spicy.

Leslie,
The flower's colour changes depending on the lighting…especially back-lighting. It mostly appears to be crimson.

Hello
actually petals and sepals appearance fits with C-C.
Lip tip does not seem "anchor shaped" as expected (pic perspective is not optimal to evaluate it) and the colour too dark for a typical c-c.
A spicy fragrance (cinnamon-like) could be inherited from a violacea parentage.

Beyond all words, it's really gorgeous!!

The C-C's var chattalada that I have all have these characteristics:

1. Leaves are marked with reddish tinge along outside margins and centrally. Yours look without markings.
2. Leaves are elliptically oblong. Yours look spade like?
3. Petals are short and stout while sepal are fat and long. Yours look equal in most parts.
4. Colour is deep dark ox-blood throughout. Yours actually look more crimson.
5. Column is large and bright golden yellow. Your flower column is pink?
6. There is a very mild sweet scent rather that spicy. The spicy may have come from violacea?

Overall the others may be right in that it is a primary hybrid. What do you think with the comparison?
