I got this one from Peter @ Big Leaf Orchids last winter. It sat on the window sill all summer and it's rewarded me with what looks to be it's first spike!

Very nice! My Samera from big leaf threw a spike also! My bud is about to POP!! Congrats on your spike, you probably have another month or two before a flower opens.

Default Update pic of the first flower


Here is the first bloom. There seems to be another bud just beginning to form. I'm guessing these species don't put up crazy flowers like the hybrids.

It's so pretty!!!
