Yeah, I really think the variety ought to be called "pastel art shade", more than orange....
None of the ones I have look "orange".

Mine does start out salmon but quickly seem to change to more light lavender. I don't know about all the colors but this one sure is not shaped at all like my lavender one. I still like it but I like the other shape better. I need to take a side by side. What about your other ones? I don't know how many you have Ray I just know I can remember you had some white and pink ones didn't you? I wanted one of those so bad. |

Sadly no. It got a fungus or something and is barely hanging on. The poor little thing still blooms but it lost all it's leaves but is putting out a couple of new ones so I will see if it is going to make it. So far the leaves have not gotten spotting on them but I'm not holding my breath.
I wish I knew where you could get one, just keep your eyes open. I got mine from Seattle Orchids. |

I just got an orange equestris (Matsuno) from Louisiana Orchid Connection. I don't know if they have more, but you should check. LOC is a vendor I implicitly trust, and so a vendor I happily recommend. Here's a flower on mine, which is a soft violet:

If I stare at the lavender flower for a long time, then quickly look over at the white wall, I see an orange after-image.
