Default Phalaenopsis philippinensis in bloom

This one has been really easy to grow, but this is the first winter that it's bloomed for me. The leaves are just as attractive as those of stuartiana and schilleriana, but philippinensis is supposedly more tolerant of cooler temperatures than the former two species (I say "supposedly" because this is the only one of the three that I grow, and my first-hand experience is limited to the latter). During the winter months, it's exposed to nightly temperates in the low 50s (11 - 12 C) without showing any signs of stress. The most attractive feature to me is the egg-yolk yellow side lobes of the lip.

Thank you, everyone, for your comments. I've not detected any fragrance yet (I'll check for it this morning while the plant is in the sunshine).

Beautiful orchid... reminds me of when I was growing up in the Philippines... you see them a top the Sierra Madre mountains.
