So lucky~
I recently moved to south Jersey and I'm learning more and more about the differences kinds of orchids. I only knew of the ones at homedepot. All other ones online are expensive. ^^; And I'm tight with money so I can't get any.

I never knew they did shows as well. It looks lovely. Hopefully the roots grow back.

I can't answer your questions but definitely see what it looks like in a year. It's so cool of a plant. I think next year the flowers will be better and even this year the color is so lovely.

I'm going to cut off the spike and let the plant grow.
The flowers look very tired and getting worse. The leaves are looking not too good either.
Oh, well..will see.

Aw that's to bad, hope it makes a huge come back for you.

I have noID nothing really special but I tried very hard to kill this thing. It has bloomed last year and is blooming right now. If I had the guts I would cute the spike off like your going to do but I don't. I should have put this thing in a smaller pot when I re-potted it. So I spray the top almost every day as it takes so long for the bottom part of the pot to dry out. I did about 2 month ago burn holes in the bottom sides of the pot to get more air to it.

The blooms are small and not what it was when I bought it. I am determined to get this one back to healthy. It is growing a new leaf and I think when it is done blooming I will re-pot it. The things we do....crazy
