Phalaenopsis violacea var. Malaysian

In a moment of weakness, I acquired another phalaenopsis species. This one will be spending the winter in a bathroom window above the shower instead of in the sunroom with the cymbidiums. Nicely scented bloom, and even though there's only one open flower, there are six green spikes with at least one bud forming on each. The last two photographs were taken in direct sunlight, which washed out much of the deep purple coloring.
