Phal bellina
I picked this guy up at Hausermann's last year during their open house and this is the first bloom. Was no smell yet last night, maybe today.

So cute! The splash of pink seems further spread out than what I see in other folks' pictures. I love the variations we can see like that in orchids.

So far no scent, maybe it takes a bit, or maybe it only produces scent at certain times. Either way, still loving it.

I have a phal. bellina and it smells lemony and floral. It is a very refreshing smell that I can catch a few feet away. It tends to be most fragrant in the morning, though, I can smell it when I lean in to it at anytime.
Yours has quite a dark centre! Very pretty! I love mine

Phal bellina
Hi!!! I got myself an adult sized bellina from Big Leaf two months ago. About 3 weeks later I noticed a tiny little sharp protrusion at the base so I am thinking its a spike. It's been 5 weeks now and it's barely grown a millimeter. I've heard these are slow growers but how patient do I have to exactly be?!
How long did you wait from spike to start of bloom?
