Phal Bellina Blue
This is one of my favourites and is almost effortless to grow. One of my more expensive acquisitions which I took at least three trips to the vendor before succumbing. No regrets.

Three trips to decide? You have more will power than I do Debra! You have a great ability of finding beautiful plants. I do not have any mounted Phalaenopsis, this gives me a good idea to try mounting my Phalenopsis seedlings.

Hey Matt, haha I wish that were the truth re will power. Cause on the same visits I would have bought several other orchids! All my Bellinas and violaceas are mounted and doing super well. Easier than leaving the phals in the pot. The possibility of over waterings less. Doesnt quite seem to work for the larger moth phals though. I tried with a couple and they seem to be struggling.

Yeah? Go figure! I am really glad the nearest Orchid vendor is over an hour drive and you have to schedule an appointment. Regarding your comment about larger moth Phals and being on mounts...I have several Phal gigantea hybrid seedlings that I have to re-pot. I was thinking of putting a couple of them on mounts. I'll have to make sure these are securely mounted. Would you be so kind and post a picture of these larger moth Phals? Thanks Debra.

Ok Matt. Dark here now. Will try to do so tomorrow. I mounted one which eventually died from a fungal infection and the other is ok now but is struggling. My equestris is however, doing very well on a mount. Will post that too
