Default Phalaenopsis taenialis (braceana)

Trying to catch up on posting a few of the things I've managed to photograph in the last few months, these flowers fell about a month ago after blooming for 3-4 weeks.

I got this last fall from someone on another forum reducing her collection, tag says Al's Orchid Greenhouse. Semi-deciduous species, grown cool/cold (overnight lows as low as mid 30s) and drier in the winter, warm and wet right now. I probably would have gotten more flowers had I been more generous with the water in late winter, looks like the spike wanted to keep going.

Flowers were about 2 cm across with a weird and unpleasant fragrance.

Really lovely. The colour reminds me of some of the encylia that you see. Not seen this colouring in a Phal before and it's lovely.

Cute! I got this one this summer and I'm wondering how far it is from bloom size. Will you post a whole plant pic?
