My phal growing area, out of space Male
Default My phal growing area, out of space

This is my phal growing area. There are some 20s phals mounted on fernbarks, and I am running out of space already. Most of these phals are grown from seedlings, and now their leaves are filling out all the spaces that provide light.

My concern is the overcrowding and unhealthy spread of disease. It is also very difficult to water all the plants evenly, due to the vertical mounting.

Any suggestion to improve the layout, health and space will be most welcomed.

This is what the area looked like in April last year.

Tha!t's fantastic! I bet my husband wishes I would run out of space; I think he may be regretting purchasing a house with a heated solarium! Lol

I think i will wait till all the phals are mature and starts flowering again before i get another seedling. Really hard to squeeze in another plant.

Thanks. It quite easy to setup a vertical phal garden, esp for one very short on space with morning sun.
