I don't think this is any more difficult than other Phals (I find the tetrapsis the most difficult of my 5 Phals). I think I acquired the plant about a year ago as a blooming size.
In late Autumn, I added a heat mat and supplemental lighting (household LED, 10.5 W, 3000K). I grow all my Phals in LECA without a reservoir (thanks RosieC!). I continue with the lighting since their permanent location has limited natural light but have turned the heat mat off earlier in the spring. This is what works for
my Phal space and I arrived at it with some trial and error.
