Default It it normal for schilleriana spikes to stall

Hello all! I have a phalaropes is schilleriana and it's a wonderful and very healthy plant. It made a spike last year early November grew about 3 inches and stopped cold. Then it made another spike a month ago I believe and it grew centimeters and then stopped cold. Now just 2 weeks ago it created another spike that is still growing!

Is this normal in any way? Will the two older spikes restart! They are still healthy spikes they are just sitting there! Here is a picture for you guys.

It would be nice to have a three spike spray for spring! With those delightfully fragrant flowers!

Hi Sam, Mine doesn't stall although it takes a while, maybe 2 months, to get to blooming height. Some of my other species phals will start a spike and then nothing for months. I have a bastianii doing that right now.

Hopefully, they will resume. Did it happen to get colder than usually about the time they stalled?

Not that I've noticed they are indoors not close to a window. The main issue I'm having is with humidity. It's just too dry this winter I have a humidifier running at all times but it's not strong enough. I haven't been worried about it because my other chids have been blooming fine. Even my angraecums.

I don't have a schillie but I have Phal plants that:
have stalled spikes, stalled spikes that resumed growing, stalled pikes and new spikes, stalled spikes that resumed growing with new spikes.

If the overall plant is healthy, I don't worry.
