If I understand correctly, daruma types are miniatures with round leaves. But to be on the safe side I've emailed Glenn Lehr for a more definitive answer and will let you know what his thoughts are.
Kristen at NWO aka Biochick here replied. Daruma is a general term for miniature Sedirea japonica in the same way nagoran is for the standard sized. Included are minmaru and smaller.
