Tommy, orchids.com has a couple of Phalaenopsis that are peloric. Here is a link: http://www.orchids.com/Phal-equestri...-x--P3830.aspx

Phal. equestris hybrids seem to produce these flower mutations. I like these flower forms. I have a Phal Baldans kaleidoscope that looks like daffodils. It blooms this way every year. I have another Phal that produced peloric flowers on one side of the spike and the other side they were all standard looking flowers. This plant is spiking so I am anxious to see what it produces.

Naoki's plant is really lovely and symmetrical. Thanks for posting your unique plant and flowers.

I like it also. I have an equestris but it is just a plain one, I love it any way. Instead of flowering this year it has produced 3 keikies at its base.

Thanks, it is interesting that some people hates peloric ones, and others don't.

Matt, I've seen a photo of one plant (P. equestris) which makes both normal and peloric flowers. It will be interesting to see how yours will bloom this year.

I'm usually not fond of peloric flowers, but this one is very nice and delicate. Congrats! /

Me too naoki! But that won't be for 3-4 months from now. I can't believe 2013 is just about GONE!

I think it is absolutely amazing. I have two young equestris that are supposed to be peloric but they haven't flowered yet. So hoping that they are what they claim to be and that they are half as pretty as yours.

The equestris seems to me to produce nice looking peloric blooms. Some where I was looking yesterday on a link some one posted and there are some really nice ones.

Personally, I've never been a fan of equestris (which is somewhat surprising as I am very much into mini's and small growing orchids). However, this indeed quite interesting and quite attractive for an equestris. In that second shot of yours, the flower looks a great deal like an iris as seen from above.
