venosa (Wu) Male
Default venosa (Wu)

Purchased this as a seedling from Peter Lin (Big Leaf) three or more years ago. It is from Joseph Wu breeding and is not a large plant. 5 spikes of which 3 have two blooms apiece. The flower varies from year to year in regard to how solid the mahogany color. Not as solid this year as in the past, but still looking pretty good. Blooms the same time every year and has the fragrance of cooked ham!

Beautiful! That's cool that the color/patterns change every year! Lol, bacon! (reminds me of that dog treat commercial... The Bacon! treats... Can't remember the product's real name... Bacon Strips maybe? Lol). My brother would LOOOVVVE that fragrance! Just add in some scallops, spring onions, tomatoes... Heheheh

Excellent Pete.

I looked for a nice venosa there recently, and finding none, picked one up at the Parkside Fest yesterday.
