Default violacea var. indigo (Norton Cross)

I purchased this from HP and Katherine Norton some time ago. It is from the selfing of their "Blue Chip" indigo violacea. Last year it bloomed for the first time and the flower was nothing special; star shaped, skinny, and irregular form.

The plant put on weight over the past year and has now started blooming. This is the first flower...

What a difference a year makes!
