Default Phal. equestris 'Blue Lip'

A premiere bloomer and a longed for one too. I just love the 'Blue Lip' variety/colour on equestris, it's so soft and beautiful.

I'm very pleased with this one and I have one, maybe two, more 'Blue Lip's which haven't bloomed yet (one of them is working on a spike though). When they do bloom, I'll see which one I like the best and sell the other two.

Here's its very first flower:

Very nice! I have equestris 'blue', wonder if it is the same. Sadly mine is sulking and sulking, no blooms in the near future...

Definitely not impossible. I hope yours gets it act together and start growing for you.

Here's a bit of an update on the 'Blue Lip', and also, my aurea has finally managed to open its first flower for this year. The spike is impressive, but knowing this finicky equestris, it'll blast half of the buds...
