That's just awsome Rosie. I must say I love all those roots. I don't mind them growing in the air. What is this sea weed stuff? I want to check if it is available in Spain.

Exotic blooms. I love the speckles and the form. Those are large pencil thick aerial roots. That is why I use seaweed extract (a supplement not a fertilizer) to make the roots and leaves healthy and robust.

I use this one The Shropshire Seaweed Company: Organic Fertilizers, Outdoor Cleaners
I bought it on Amazon, not sure if it's available in Europe or not, it's a UK company.

Yeah, this isn't the only orchid I saw results from, though it was the most spectacular. I've just been going round dosing them again this spring.

I love this species, that pattern and colours on it are so beautiful and elegant. Congratulations.
