Phalaenopsis mannii?
This was a mislabeled plant, but I think it is Phal. mannii. Does that seem correct? First flowering with a few buds still to come.

Does look like mannii to me. I have mannii 'Black' in flower so I'll go get it in a bit and do a close comparison of the lip shape, but at fist glance it looks right.

Yeah, the lip does look REALLY similar to the one on my mannii 'Black'. There is also similarity in that the sepals are wider than the petals, although yours look more so than mine.
I don't have an expert eye for checking these things, but it does look really like a mannii to me.

Looks like mannii to me, the lip and coloration especially.

Definitely looks like a standard mannii to me.

Yes, looks like it.
Have a sniff: mannii should have the scent of mandarin oranges during the day (mine was not strong and only at certain times)
If you'd like to check out some lip close ups (and some similar species) here's a good resource:

Yes, mannii is often fragrant, mine during the day but not mornings and evenings so I only catch it when I'm in during the day.

Very nice. Should have three calli on the labellum, but looks good for P. mannii to me.
