now 2 weeks before the OS show...I might have a plant with blooms on it that looks good.

Counted over 20 buds, should be nice and made my day already.

with species I'm thinking the flowers are pot luck unless you get a clone or a division of a nice cultivar. Seed grown can do strange things also. You can manipulate the species by crossing them with others of the species that are notably larger shapelier or more floriferous but thats about it. All the natural traits of the species are still in the genes. Cultural techniques or the lack thereof can also greatly affect the flowers, but thats mechanical not natural. With good culture a bad batch of flowers could be a joy next time. But thank you for looking. I do this less and less for me ya know
