Default Phal. lueddemanniana

I bought this 2 years ago from a vendor friend who was going out of business. It has put out 4 spikes since I brought it home but none of them have ever bloomed. Now it looks like 3 of the 4 will bloom this year.

It's not one of the lovely line bred 4N lueddes that are almost all dark pink with fat petals and sepals. Still I think it's kind of cute in it's own way.

Mine started doing lots better when I repotted into a pot with loads of slots on the sides and bottom. It dries out a lot faster even in the middle, and it doesn't seem to mind. Just a thought.

I like the the pinkish/ red barring against the white backround. It's a nice looking bloom. Almost as nice as your new avatar.

My new avatar is Phal. Hilo Lip. It's one of my survivors. Figured it would be better to have an avatar of a plant I still have!

Great pattern, looks like you have multiple flower stems going on!
