The leaves alone is amazing....you have two spikes budding....you will surely make this bloom in a couple of weeks....how exciting for you

Finally, the buds are starting to open. It did blast a few of the smallest ones like te vendor told me it might happen.

Great looking plant. These are not hard to bloom, just treat it like any other phal. These guys like to hold on to their spikes. I love growing mine, interesting one for sure.

I have a similar plant...that is labeled amabilis. When it was in bloom I posted and had many comments that it is not amabilis....but aphrodite...yours looks very similar to mine. Thoughts anyone? I'll attach a picture of mine.

Here's a site that's good for identifying species: Phalaenopsis species by alphabetical order. I think one thing you need to do is have a really close-up look at the lips. Of course, if you are doubting it's labelled correctly, then you are also going to have to consider that it might be a hybrid of some kind...
