Lookin Good Ryan! Too bad about no spikes, but it shouldn't be too long now. Keep up the good culture!

It's been in its new sh pot for a while now. At the time it was sending out a lot of new roots and many were covered by the sh media. I tend to plant my plants deep in sh and even though I tired to give this one more room under its leaves for ventilation, those roots disappeared into the media. When giving this plant a gentle tug, it does not move, suggesting the roots were successful at transitioning to the new conditions. It continues to send out new roots and secondary roots on existing roots that have not perished in the transition. I don't expect them to last long but have to admit I'm glad they're sticking around.

This is the latest pic I have of the plant but the new leaf has already doubled its size compared to how you see it in the pic.

That is incredible progress! I only wish mine had this vigor (it is still a baby with 2" leaves). Good growing!
Keep us posted with progress.

Thx. I wish there weren't some issues with the plant though. It has a leaf yellowing and while I think it may be the result of a longer photo period under my lights (increased it by an hour over the past two weeks so get all the orchids thinking summer is coming). The new leaf is silvery green which I'm told is a good sign and I think the top leaf opposite it is having a hard time adapting. Keeping an eye on it.

Check out the latest:

So you can see the top mature leaf is experiencing high light but it also has a second new leaf coming in. Not pictured is the flush of new roots. So I'm optimistic it'll do well I'm still concerned about the yellowing.
