Thank You, Sonya !!!!!

love it BUDDY!!! its definitely near the top of my "gotta have" list! do you have any plans to breed with it or use the pollen? dont let that pollen go to waste! lindenii is such an awesome species and really makes some incredible hybrids when used as a parent!

looks stunning its growing in a rock?

The large lava rock is just a background. I hanged the mounted plant by the wire hook on the top of the rock.... |
Thank You, Bobby !
I need to learn how to make use of my pollens and be adept at selfing and crossbreeding.... as of now its a hit or miss....I have not yet perfected the use of a toothpick as I have seen on YouTube....but I managed to send a couple of pods to a local flasker and maybe in 6 months I might have some seedlings from my own doing |

awesome! something that i learned (but something people often forget to add) is that your supposed to lick the toothpick and then touch it to the pollen. your saliva will hold the pollen on the toothpick. i cant tell you how much pollen i lost before i learned that! even if you dont have anything in bloom to use the pollen with, make sure you save it so you can use it later! (or send it to me so i can remake lius bright rub :waving) |
thanks for the tip Bobby....no need to lick since the pollens have those sticky tails that stick to the toothpick its just a matter of how you untangle it
I sent a member a couple of flowers by mail and when it withered the pollen also withered with it.... its really advisable to send the pollen taken out of the flower when sending by mail |

that is a good point, it is definitely best to take the pollen out for storage. i store mine folded in a piece of tissue in a ziplock bag thats labelled in a box im my fridge |
how long does your pollen last? ballpark figure?
