It's not pathetic, it's a good beginning I would say.

And it looks like you're aiming to get some quality clones instead of just "run of the mill" ones.

I have more Phals, but not necessarily a "better" collection. I would really love to get my hands on a nice quality schilleriana...

This is my small collection (only Phals though, Paphs are left for the Paphy thread):

Species:

Phal. celebensis
Phal. equestris
Phal. equestris
Phal. equestris
Phal. equestris 'Apari'
Phal. equestris 'Apari' pink
Phal. equestris aurea
Phal. equestris aurea
Phal. equestris 'Blue Lip' x self
Phal. equestris 'Blue Lip'
Phal. equestris 'Blue Lip'
Phal. equestris 'Orange'
Phal. equestris 'Maria'
Phal. equestris var. coerulea
Phal. equestris var. coerulea
Phal. equestris var. rosea
Phal. lindenii
Phal. philippinense
Phal. pulchra
Phal. schilleriana
Phal. stuartiana
Phal. stuartiana var. nobilis
Phal. taenialis
Phal. violacea (Rachels blue Eyes x Gulfstream blue x sib)
Phal. violacea (Red x Harvey)

Primary equestris hybrids:
Dtps. Purple Gem 'blue'
Phal. Ambotris (w. amboinensis var. common)
Phal. Ambotris (w. amboinensis white)
Phal. Ambotris (w. amboinensis white)
Phal. Braquestris Melmi
Phal. Cornustris (equstris aurea x cornu-cervi alba)
Phal. Equalacea (violacea var. Indigo x equestris var. alba)
Phal. Equiwilson
Phal. Little Sister

Primary hybrids:
Phal. Jennifer Palermo
Phal. Princess Kaiulani 'Miki'
Phal. Wiganiae

Complex hybrids:

Dtps. I-Hsin Symphony
Dtps. Liu's Berry
Dtps. Queen Beer 'Tiny Doll'
Dtps. Sogo Vivien 'Golden Vivien'
Dtps. Tzu Chiang Orange C#1
Phal. Lioulin Sweet
Phal. Rainbow Chip x Liu's Bright Ruby
Phal. Stone Dance var. yellow
Phal. Zuma's Pixie

NoID:s (where the ID might be 99% certain, but not confirmed, or where the name is not registered, or they're just plain ol' NoID:s):
Phal. Little Emperor
Phal. Malibu Madonna
Phal. Snow Mound
Phal. Graz/Patricia Lillian
Equestris hybrid
Peloric hybrid, large (my oldie)
Peloric hybrid, small (my Mutant)
Mini Phal, looks like Jiaho's Pink Girl
Mini Phal, looks like Wenlong Pink Girl

I want more equestris variants and primary hybrids, as well as some more violacea, a good quality schilleriana, some more Tzu Chiang hybrids, and a Phal Liu's Bright Ruby. I also want some other complex hybrids, but since my space is rather limited and shared with a growing collection of Paphs, I have to limit myself.

orchideya: Yup, I'm a fan of equestris.

You have one impressive collection I must say, and it seems as if you don't have the limitations that I have. For instance, I don't like Phals with hairy lips (Jennifer Palermo is going to be a challenge) so none of those species, and I don't like Phals that looks like tetraspis, amboinensis, gigantea etc. (yellowish white background with reddish markings), so none of those either.

The only species that will probably grow in my collection are equestris and violacea and maybe a wilsonii will be added later. But I really don't have all the equestris primary hybrids that I want, still with the limitation of hairy lips which is why cuties like Phal. Hiroshima Tetratris won't ever be part of my collection unless I get over my aversion against hairy lips.

Darn! There are so many equestris primary hybrids that I want! I'll probably have to sell my complex hybrids to fit them all when I manage to get my grubby hands on them.

Haha, Mutant, I used to have quite a lot of dislikes, but time has worn away all but two, pelorics, and those standards with feathery edges. So give it time, and you'll have all sorts of hairy-lipped phals in your collection!

The_Mutant: my limit is - space. I grow indoors, constantly fighting low humidity. Luckily my family including large dog got used to the fact that there are orchid pots everywhere and they need to be careful when moving around the house .
I have ordered large orchidarium 'Grand cayman" model for my phals, so things should get better when it arrives(not soon). Good luck in your quest for all equestris hybrids, I like them too and have couple here.

Yes, its from Kingfisher, and its leaf span is almost 8". It's currently growing a new leaf that I hope gets much larger. I would say another year or two before it blooms.

Great! I should have bought one when getting my flasks. Maybe next time if they are still there.

I heard there should have been a shipment from Taiwan early Sept but didn't get the list yet. Wonder if it is still true and what is going to be there.

Yes, he is getting the plants, but there have been a lot of delays. They probably won't be available until spring.
