Phalaenopsis bellina
This is my oldest phal species and blooms faithfully every summer. This the first bloom this year. I would have preferred to have a more rounded bloom.. none the less the scent is fabulous.

Nice colors. Looks kind of squished in the picture.

Beautiful bloom. I love the color and form. My first experience with orchids always associated with fragrance... that's why I always look for any scent whenever I encounter a bloom...

bellina is such a fabulous species. The color is great, but it's a shape that the form isn't great. That it always do that?

Thanks for looking!
Yes unfortunately it has always had an elongated flower like this. I'd love to get another one but the only way I can keep her happy is in a terrarium. She used to live in a big bottle, but got too big...

Great looking plant. I have a small one that I purchased last year, and it has a spike that started about a week ago. How large was your plant when it first flowered? What typ of mix do you grow yours in? I use a chc, cork chip, aliflor, mix in all of my Phals. Thanks
