Default cornu-cervi 'red' with many flowers

It came a month ago with 4 buds. Now there are 6 opened flowers and 4 more buds growing. I think it is my best orchid purchase:

Very nice! Of all the color variations I like this one best. The var flava is a close second with it's cute yellow flowers.

Thank you everybody!
I really like the cornu-cervi flower shape and "waxiness". Wish it had fragrance too. I now want to get the flava var.. I already have small plant of regular form, but it didn't flower yet.
It is so great to get plants with spikes already there.

Sweet ! I'm beginning to think there is something to this transparent container thing. In the wild the roots of many epiphytes intermingle and are covered with leaves but.....but... they still receive a modicum of UV.
I'm thinking transparent pots with slots in the traditional clay orchid pot theme for more aeration. Another project.
