Apologize for the snipped leaves tips, this is due to some kind of infections earlier on.

Lovely flower. The colors are amazing. Dont worry about the leaves I cut the tips too if it gets discolored...

Beautiful.

You should really try to picture it with a light a little better, and a dark background, it'll explode that way.

Yes I totally agree with you there.

However it's just too much work to pull out my DSLR, Macro lens, flash and tripod Now with two little girls who wants to get involve in everything I do !

I have not shot anything with my "proper" camera for more then 2-3 years.
I used to be actively photographing local wildlife until the birth of my first kid.
Wifey not too please if I leave my home at 3am and be back only after dusk, chasing after birds or any thing that catches my eye in the bush.

Decent to good pics with a little camera with a decent macro mode is enough when the world is against you…
