phal amboinensis
Hi guys and gals, nothing toooo special here. Just wanted to share my blooming phal ambo var common with y'all. Got this from Ten Shin orchids last fall at a local orchid show. First time blooming for me (though the plant has bloomed previously).

I like the markings on the petals. I'm wondering why I've never gotten one of these.

Thanks for the comments everyone. It's got a fragrance too. Many books will say that ambos smell "musky" and is somewhat unpleasant, but I find my ambo to be not too bad. It's certainly not a sweet smell like bellina or violacea, but it's not a bad smell either. It smells like "the outdoors" is the best way I can describe it. A second bloom opened over the weekend, and it looks like that's all it's going to give me.
Still waiting for my var flavida and var flava ambos to bloom one day!

That is a beautiful flower. I think those spikes will give you more blooms. I like the colors and the markings on the petals...
