Default Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi 'red'

It bloomed today:






There are 4 more buds growing on different spikes . I wonder how long the blooms last.

Wow, that's early from my understanding. Thought they were summer blooming. Beautiful though!!!! Now I wonder why mine hasn't started spiking, lol....

I have no idea about blooming times. I got it just over a week ago with 4 spikes and few buds ready. This bud is first to open. And today I noticed the start of a new spike!

I really hope that someday, a hybridizer will succeed in producing an phal which combines that density of color with the kind of profuse flowering habit seen in the noids. Very striking flowers.
