Thank you everybody! It was on my wish list for a while and I was so hoping that cornucervi would win the pool for the project plant, then it would be a very legitimate purchase. But when it was clear that it wouldn't win, I decided to buy it anyway and am very glad I did.

I think I've found a seller that has everything I really, really want to order with my project plant... except this! Arrrggghhhh...

Still love the 'pull strip' flower spikes!

Where are you ordering? I've seen red cornu cervi in several places.

Camille: Schwerter probably. Yes, I know, they have red and alba. But they are expensive and I think I like the stripey (and cheaper) ones best! I guess I may have an excuse for another order for my birthday...

Though looking at that picture I think if I have the money later in the year I might be getting a stripey one AND a red one...

And this folks, is why this forum is so dangerous to my wallet (I do believe that this 'laughing' smiley is appropriately neurotic looking)

I've only been in this hobby for a year, and I'm scared to add up how much I've spent on orchids in that time.
