Default Phal. aphrodite

Phal. aphrodite is a native orchid to Taiwan. It used to be found in our southeast coastal forests.
Nowadays, the wild plants are seldom found. But the mericlones and seedlings are easily available.

I found white flowers beautiful! Is it possible to sustain this orchid in the wild? I's a pity not have them in their natural habitat. Anyway, native orchids are rare in my country too.

The species is most found in the Philippines, which is just south to Taiwan. As most records, in Taiwan, the species is restrictly distributed in some areas in our southeast part.
Several decades ago, the wild plant were collected for export, which may account for what it becomes so rare in the wild nowadays.
