I'm assuming that he bought it as the 'standard' form of tetraspis that is supposed to have just a few spots on it, rather than the big random blotches of the C#1/speciosa (whatever it is). I've actually noticed that (at least here in Canada), the standard tetraspis is harder to find than C#1.
