Phalaenopsis sumatrana
First bloom curled bloom tucked low between two leaves, so no idea on how open it might be. Looks pretty cupped though. Nifty cream green color with light brownish/red markings (it's roughly accurate to the picture). Definitely not as superb as the 'Peter Lin' cultivar, but nice to have!

Well this was supposed to be in the species section, so if a Mod could move it for me, that's be great. Sorry to be an idiot.

Beautiful markings on this Jarad! Too bad it got stuck between the leaves.

Funny that this thread should be brought back up just when I happened to lose an ebay auction for one! Great pic, that is such a cutie that I am missing out on!

Sad to hear that Camille, but there is always another out there somewhere.
I'm glad this got revived though. This plant is under major mite attack. I caught it late, but I think I've gotten them under control. It cost me this bloom, but I'm ok with that. However this guy is super scented. Hard to describe spicy smells, but reminds me a bit of burning rubber. Strange scent for sure. Hopefully the next blooms will be a bit flatter.

I'm usually excited with a happy dance for every flower I get no matter how deformed it is. Curled or not, this one got lovely beautiful markings.
