Exactly, and still I've seen pictures of both with about the same amount of yellow on their lips... internet is not good for newbies trying to figure out what a possible variant might look like.

On a french forum someone had scanned a page out of a great Phal book and on that page it explained that equestris var. rosea is basically the standard form of what is also called Phal equestris Ilocos....
