First time in bloom, sumatrana (from Ooi, picked up last year at German Orchidshow - Dresden) & violacea (from Norton breeding line)



violacea , sumatra type

I got the plant last year in april, bare roots. Due to this fact I can be happy that there is a flower anyway.
It seems that the plant has settled down very well on my window sill.

I'm happy with any flower on a species phal. Now that I'm on my second cup of coffee I see there's also a nice fat bud also.
