Phalaenopsis Schilleriana bloom
Well 2 blooms have opened on my poor plant .. I say poor as I have had her a few years now..she nearly died of root rot (had only one leaf left) then last year she 'fell' and broke 2 leaves..... I hope to get her to one day look like all those photos of this species one sees...
Pics arn't very good but it was cloudy today.

It has the corect color and form. I also like the way you mounted it. Its just too bad that it went through so much...

Beautiful flowers. Considering what your poor schilleriana has been trough those flowers are a great reward. It seems to be a fighter. ![Very Happy](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

2 blooms is still awesome considering you brought her back from the brink of death. Nice save. ![Smile](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif)
Seeing the leaf span on yours I realize that mine is further away from blooming size than I thought....

oh, the silk diapahnous curtain is a nice touch to shade the orchids from direct sun

A few years ago I got my Dad a seedling of this species that bloomed very small, so yours might not be too far away.

Congrats on the blooms! Glad you revived it. If it makes you feel any better I burnt my stuartiana down to 1.5 leaves last spring due to a freak sunny day that surprised me while I was in a class. By the time I got back to my orchids to close the curtains, the damage was done. It's supposedly blooming size, but even before that set-back I hadn't managed to bloom it.
