YES! Maybe that's their plan? To get us to add more orchids to our orders? How cunning of them!
They've got too large a supply of great looking Phals and Phalhybrids. Schwerter is very unhealthy for me...

Yup, they seem to vary
a lot even among equestris that belong to the same varieties. I've noticed that when browsing for pictures of equestris; search for P. equestris aurea and you'll end up with what looks almost like an 'alba' to specimens with a bright yellow lip. It's a bit of a gamble but at least one might hope that the plant one buys resembles the beautiful one on the picture (of course the vendors/nurseries/growers use their best looking specimens to attract costumers
) one saw.
