Oh, you're right. I forgot about that. I think there's only a nursery in Hawaii that helps you with this.
Well that's good, then I don't have to think about that one!

YES! Maybe that's their plan? To get us to add more orchids to our orders? How cunning of them!
They've got too large a supply of great looking Phals and Phalhybrids. Schwerter is very unhealthy for me...

Yup, they seem to vary a lot even among equestris that belong to the same varieties. I've noticed that when browsing for pictures of equestris; search for P. equestris aurea and you'll end up with what looks almost like an 'alba' to specimens with a bright yellow lip. It's a bit of a gamble but at least one might hope that the plant one buys resembles the beautiful one on the picture (of course the vendors/nurseries/growers use their best looking specimens to attract costumers ) one saw.

All this talk about equestris has me wanting to look into all the other variations. I'm getting a group of seedlings. Wouldn't there be variations since their grown from seed?

Eric - that's where the variations come from, good luck with your seedlings and may you have as many color variations as you have seedlings.
