Silken - you could always e- mail Ten Shin and ask them to bring plants to the show. It is a mini - I grow it in a terra cotta pot (to keep the root area cooler) and the leaves are about 10cm at most.
Paula - I don't know if this helps, but the temps. this one grows in: daytime about 28-22C, night time 15-18C.

I thought I would revive this thread to ask you a question. If this comes into bloom again anytime soon, would you be willing to donate any pollen for me to use in my breeding? I have one myself, but I don't think it is near blooming sized yet. I of course would be willing to send you free seedlings of any cross that I use the pollen in that is sucessful, a plan that works out nicely because you are in Canada!

Beautiful flower. The white petal and sugar pink lip is so yummy....the bright colored center looks like candlelight....overall the texture and form makes a very elegant plant proportionate to the leaves and roots.
Its nice to see how my plant will look like when it blooms.
*Cody: if my plant blooms I think I can send you polinia....its not illegal to send some in a small envelope or a birthday card size. The only think that is a no no is a large plant that might carry virus or bugs into Canada; but pollenis is too small to do any damage.

Yes, as far as I'm concerned, it is perfectly fine to do that, as I have received pollen from several people in the US without any problems, and once I got some from a friend in Germany!
