Phal javanica yellow x self
Sorry it's not in bloom yet! I just wanted to show what i found yesterday. Usually i don't check under the leaves but i was quite surprised to find a stem. Got the plant about 6 months ago from Elsner and it was said to be a young plant. It doesn't even have a pic in the webshop, hope mine will be the first to bloom Sooooon Very excited about this little one

Finally! It was like a lifetime to wait for this one But i have to say i'm quite disappointed. It's javanica for sure but nothing like yellow.....

Pretty bloom, but I agree that there's nothing very yellow about it! Maybe it'll develop as the bloom ages?

As Camille said, maybe with age, or perhaps different temps while spike is developing

It is a first bloom too. Maybe the second bloom will have more yellow.
