I have one of these...was supposed to be a mature plant plant but I dunno...seems like mine is a long way from pushing a spike. Have you any special care instructions for yours? It's beautiful!

Nice! Is that the second blooming of those spikes?
I always thought ambos were summer bloomers, but mine rebloomed a few weeks back too. The leftmost flower has since died, but another flower has opened on the right spike. I bought it in bloom last March from Brennan's Orchids at the Philadelphia flower Show. It had suffered a bacterial infection last July along with several other Phals, but recovered after treatments with Phyton 27. I just brought it back to my living/plant room a couple months ago, after having had it quarantined on a chilly northern kitchen window sill all summer, where it only added one small leaf about 2 inches long (which doesn't seem to be growing further). The 2 previously bloomed spikes stayed dormant all summer, but suddenly burst forth with 8 buds total shortly after being moved back to the plant room. This has to be my favorite rebloom, since I really didn't expect much from it anytime soon.

Pilot, where did you get yours from? I bought one recently as well 1 year from blooming, but when recieved I had to think otherwise. Could someone post a pic of a ruler to theirs?
