P. equestris 'Hana Nguyen' AM/AOS
Had Hana since 3/05. She's in a 5" pot now but leaves aren't much over 5" tall !!! COMPACT is the word ! She has always put out 2 spikes at a time but this season she's put out 6 new ones and still has an older one with a keiki, sorry, already spoken for. She will keiki on almost all of them every season but her seasons stretch out pretty long, from 2 to 10 months and then she takes a brief rest while growing a keiki or 2. Almost an exact 2 month rest between the last and this first bloom on 11/15. She's one of my top ten favs ! There are so many basal keikis that I've never been able to distinguish which one is the mother plant ! That was Mr. Nguyen's selling point when I bought it and he sure was right !
Two older pix for color and fuller bloom and today's.

What kind do you have, Evan ? Hana is a sequential bloomer and my 'Riverbend' is absolutely an AMAZING sequential bloomer !!!! River's been in constant bloom since August 2005 !!!! Right now only 3 spikes left but the newest 2 have branched into 4 each so she has the equivalent of 9 spikes all sequential !!! I've got 3 other baby eq's that haven't bloomed for me yet also. They're VERY addicting !!!

So very lovely!!! I think it would he a great idea to get this guy stem-proped, as I am sure there are many who are dying to get a piece, and its always good to have backup.

I don't know what kind it is, actually. Terri (quiltergal) here on OB sent it to me as a keiki in 2009. It was only a couple inches across with 2 leaves and has gotten maybe an inch wider since then with two new leaves. Phals grow very slowly in my cool temperatures. I'm planning to get heat mats for them and my other chids that would like it a bit warmer.

I love equestris, and yours sure is nice!!! I have 5 of them (3 standard ones) and they love to bloom. One of my standard pinks is just a baby (keiki I got a year ago, and it has put out 4 basal keikis this fall Hopefully it will grow up to look just like yours!

Frog? Do you mean phrag? If so, that plant (the last photos) is actually a Noid Paph.
Me too I love the 'dark' equestris, colorwise it really outdid itself this year! Much darker than the previous bloomings. It now has a keiki growing, so I'll have insurance in case something happens to the mother plant.
