Phalaenopsis lueddemanniana
Boy was this a surprise. Picked this up on the cheap at Peach State Orchids about 4-5 months ago. It was in early spike, but it stalled once I got it home. About 2 months later though it started to elongate and started 3 new spikes (which I posted pictures on earlier).
Finally the first bloom opened, and I couldn't be happier with the color saturation and the dark to light color towards the center. The form is nice and round, and the texture is heavy and waxy. The fuzzy lip is always a plus. Hopefully it'll open up a bit more, but it's caught by the leaves and the 2nd bud.
Do Enjoy!

That's outstanding! What a great-shaped flower, and the colors are really attractive too. Would you mind taking a picture of the entire plant, please?
