Orchideya, no these are not the same as mealies, much smaller. These mites look white or glassy like colour, hard to see. I used a magnifying glass since I couldn't see them with the naked eye. I knew there was something wrong .... so I had a closer look and found mites. Nothing was on any of the leaves just the stems.

I'm sure you're blooms will be pretty aswell

I'm beginning to think this is a reichenbachiana and not a fasciata
