Nice. I have never heard of violacea var sumatrana...that is not recognized according to OrchidWiz. I have heard a reference to var sumatra, but even that is apparently not recognized either.

I have had a bellina for 5 years now & grow in the house. I grow it in an 'enclosed space' to keep the humidity high. First it was in a giant water bottle but became too big for it so I now have it in a terrarium. It's in flower at the moment and for the first time I had 4 flowers open at the same time with 2 more buds which will be flowering in the next few weeks. It is the only plant I have planted in 100% sphag (loose) with a layer of leca pebbles at the bottom. I only water when sphag gets dry which can take up to 2 weeks. -I nearly lost her a few years ago to root rot (she was in bark at the time) Hope this helps.
