Default Phalaenopsis fasciata bud!!?

Couple weeks ago I got this phal with old spikes. Some growth activity started on one of them and it looks like tiny bud.
This is my first phal specie that sent out bud ever! Any tips on how to keep it alive and what might kill it would be really appreciated.
I will post a picture of flower when/if it blooms.
Thanks for looking.

Hurah for the bud! I would keep growing as you are now, it seems to like it pretty well if it's decided to produce another bud! Just avoid big temperature swings that could blast it, and avoid moving it around too much.

Thank you Camille. I took into habit to mist my orchids all over with liquid seaweed extract mixed with water once a week. Should I exclude this phal for now as to avoid getting liquid onto bud?
Also is it OK to take it from the shelf to water granted I put it back into same position, right?
Thank you again so much.

What I meant by moving was for instance moving it from one spot to another in a more permanent way (like moving it out of the growing area so you see it better) I have a Phal that I moved when the buds were about to open, and it didn't like it all all, I lost several buds. I didn't move it far either. Went from it's shelf under lights to the coffee table 3ft away! That's an extreme example though.

I don't use it, but I think you can continue with the seeweed extract, misting doesn't hurt them (although I didn't know that it could be misted, I thought it was something you added to their watering water). Just avoid the buds when it's nearly really to open, then the water could cause some spotting on the flower. And make sure you are misting well before dark.

It must be the season in Canada for Phal. fasciata, mine has also started to be flowering active. The cooler temperatures certainly help - I can't take credit for that!

Thank you Camille. I have blasted blooms and bunch of unopened buds on Dtps. Freed's Beautiful Girl 'Blue' X Phal Equestris 'Alba' when I re-potted it. I should have waited for it to finish blooming. Now I want to be very careful as to not cause it again.

Yes, here we had significant drop in temps lately too.
