I think I'm going to hold on to my money for now, rather than spend $125 for what may or may not be chattaladae in-spike. Meantime, I received my f1 chattaladae from LOC and, from the size, it looks like I may be waiting a couple years to see it bloom.

BTW, sadly, it appears Robert Bedard may no longer be active in the orchid world; according to the about section on one of his websites: "I used to grow and hybridize Orchids."

Don't feel bad,I paid $100 for mine from Norman Fang and at this point I have no idea what the heck it is. Whole thing is like a bad dream. Thanks for starting this.

WHAT IS THE LATEST on Phal. cornu-cervi chattaladae ?

Is the controversy any better now ? I have seen the 'Monster' FCC/AOS cultivar by Ramon de los Santos and would like to ask if anyone has any clue at what the botanical form should really look like ? Any for sale anywhere ?!!!:waving

Big Leaf still has one in their online store (not 'Monster' cultivar, that hasn't been cloned or stemmed yet).
