Phalaenopsis lobbii

This one was a constant bloomer for me until one day it began loosing all its leaves. Don't know why, as humidity and watering remained the same. I think the room the tank was in was too hot and when I moved the tank to a cooler room all my plants started doing better. My Phal Mini Mark in the hybrids forum is in the same tank as this one.

It actually produced 4 flowers, 2 on one spike, and 2 on a second. The second spike is currently in bloom with one last flower.

Your timing is impeccable for me! I'm getting mine this week. The 1st one lost all its leaves, and then the roots died , or so I thought. I'll try growing the new one cooler, and in higher humidity. Thanks for the pictures.

Its a beautiful flower. It bloomed even if it was in stress. Good you were able to save it in the nick of time.

No, I wish I had! I assumed it was dead and tossed it. I did the same with my jewel orchids when they lost their leaves. I've become quite successful with parishii, braceana, lowii and tenealis, but had not been able to find another lobbii. Now my aim is to improve my culture to such a degree that they don't go dormant on me.
