Default Blue Violacea

Went to the IPA meet yesterday and bought some phals.

I picked up a modesta, a Sogo Gotris, and of course a violacea.

Phal violacea 'Rachel's Blue Eyes' x 'Mademoiselle Bleu' AM/AOS

What a pretty violacea!! Sogo Gotris is a very very nice hybrid, I love the colors.
What's IPA? I'm no good with abbreviations..

I got a nice violacea but there were many nicer ones there! they had a whole table of the Norton breeding lines and it was very hard to pick one. They went quick!

The one I got I look forward to it's next flower - it was pretty far along so the petals were reflexed back - I look forward to a nice flat flower next time I hope!

You got one of Bob Richter's pretty plants. Lucky you. I meant to try and find you at the meeting (yelling out fishmommy, fishmommy!), but I kind of had my hands full helping out the vendors and taking photos and totally forgot. I'll try to find you at the next meeting I attend. The IPA/NHOS event was fantastic and there will be another one next year hosted by the NHOS. Yay!

Camille, you should consider joining IPA if you are a Phal-phile. I know it is more expensive if you are outside the US, but it is worthwhile.
